New Staff Positions

NEW PARISH SECRETARY
On Friday, October 8, we welcomed a new parish secretary, Julia Gilbert. She has had extensive experience as a diplomat and, most recently, as a pre-school teacher in Cabin John, Maryland near where she lives. Julia is the mother of five children, was born in Germany, and grew up in suburban Maryland. She will take Joan’s place at the front desk.


NEW BUSINESS MANAGER
Joan Ward has been the parish secretary and office manager for many years at our parish office; but prior to her employment here, Joan had extensive managerial experience in a variety of companies. Her new job here will focus on the many contracts we have with vendors and the permitting process required by the Archdiocese for our various projects.


NEW CATECHETICAL LEADER
Regina Thibeau has accepted our invitation to follow Jane Baily as “Director of Faith Formation for Children.” Regina has been a “Director of Religious Education” for two large parishes in the suburbs of Chicago and has worked in administrative positions at the diocesan level. She is currently “Director of Administrative Services” for the Society of the Divine Word – Chicago Province. She looks forward to moving to our area and being closer to family members who live nearby. Regina plans to begin her ministry here November 8.
