There are several ways to volunteer your time and talents to those in need this Thanksgiving.
To provide Thanksgiving meals through SHARE: Use the colored fliers at church entrances to send a donation to the parish office.

To make a donation for families to purchase their own meals through the Blessed Sacrament Social Concerns Ministry: Please donate grocery gift cards (Giant and Safeway), checks or cash to the Social Concerns Office “in-box” located in the Duffy Parish Center Main Office or at Mass Collections (checks must be designated “Thanksgiving Meal Donation” on the memo line) by Monday, November 19th. To volunteer with Youth Ministry to hand-deliver boxes to those in need: Volunteers will “adopt” a family in need and then pack a box with traditional, non-perishable Thanksgiving dinner side-items and a supermarket gift card so that the family can purchase a turkey. On Tuesday, November 20 from 3pm to 5p.m., our volunteers will have an opportunity to hand-deliver the boxes to those families at Catholic Charities in Silver Spring. To register, click
