We welcome Clifton Mastran to Blessed Sacrament as our summer seminarian. Clifton is a seminarian of the Archdiocese of Washington and he will be with us for eight weeks from May 27 to July 22.
Clifton grew up in Florida with his parents and younger brother and attended college at the University of Florida. After graduation, he moved to Rhode Island to begin an 18-year professional career as a federal civilian in the Department of Defense. After 7 years in Rhode Island, he transitioned to D.C. and lived here for 11 years before entering the seminary, spending 2 years at Saint John Paul II Seminary in Washington, DC before transitioning to Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary in Weston, MA. The last year has been a pastoral year at St. Peter’s on Capitol Hill. It has been an interesting road travelled so far, and he is so grateful for these years to discern God’s call to the priesthood! Clifton looks forward to serving the parish of Blessed Sacrament this summer before returning to PSJS in the Fall. Clifton wishes to serve the people here in the Archdiocese of Washington and wherever the Lord takes him!
Please make Clifton feel welcome as he lives and ministers among us. Fr Gary
