Corpus Project Update

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the replacement project for the corpus of Jesus on our beautiful church tower. Your contributions have allowed us to collect the funding for almost all of the projected cost.  A special thanks to the Sodality of Mary at Blessed Sacrament, contributing a third of the projected cost.

The completion date is expected in the spring.  It was quite a project to remove the stone backing that the corpus was attached to, especially with the snow and freezing temperatures.  Now the new stonework is being cast and will be installed in a few weeks.  The corpus will then be attached to the new stone work.  I am keeping my fingers crossed for project completion by Easter.

I will continue to update as the project nears completion.
