Hunger is an ever present reality in parishes and communities. Local food pantries are experiencing an ever increasing demand for food. To help replenish food, Catholic Charities and the Archdiocese of Washington together are sponsoring the 2020 Archdiocesan Lenten Drive. Our Parish collection dates are March 21 & 22. Donation Bags for will be provided the weekend before, March 14 & 15.
When you arrive at Mass on collection days March 21 & 22, please leave your bag in one of the Donation Boxes at church and gym entrances or at the altar during Communion. All food items will be donated to the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation, which serves homeless and working poor individuals and families in St. Thomas More (Blessed Sacrament’s Sister Parish) St. Vincent de Paul, St. Luke and Holy Name Food Pantries in the Archdiocese. If you forget your food donation monetary contributions may be donated directly to the Foundation, address:
