Helping Our Children Find Comfort, Confidence, and Competence
When the World Around Us Is Unsettled
Tuesday, May 31, 7:30-9:00pm
Parents all over have been wondering how best to help their children move toward a post-pandemic life that remains full of stressors and uncertainty in the larger world around them. How do we recover or create routines, boundaries and a path forward to foster autonomy, cooperation and confidence in our children? How can we make our children feel safe, while opening the conversations with them about the troubling events in the world?
Dr. Lisa Herrick has worked with families and children for over 30 years. She will speak to these, and other questions, to help our parent community begin to sort out the most effective ways to help our children move toward the coming year with emotional health and success.
