My Personal Journey: Strength of a Vocation: The Perception, the Actual Experience and Changes For the Better at the Seminary
On Friday, June 7, at 7 AM after the 6:30 AM Mass, is our parish community gathering of men and women to explore how others live and practice their faith in the marketplace. Our speaker is our own Parochial Vicar Father Peter Mlynarczyk who was assigned to Blessed Sacrament a year ago after serving in the same role at St. Peter’s Parish in Olney. A native of Germantown,, MD, (St. John Neumann Parish), Fr. Peter graduated from public schools and Montgomery College before entering St. John Paul II to study philosophy for three years. After graduating from The Catholic University of America, Fr. Peter went to Mount St. Mary’s Seminary to study theology for four years, and was ordained to the Priesthood in June 2022. His seven plus years journey in preparation for the priesthood ministry had some unexpected twists and turns which measured his dedication and reaffirmed his decision. These stages were refined in a faith-based-crucible resulting in Fr Peter’s ordination and service to us and others in the marketplace.
All are invited to be part of this active parish organization and urged to bring a friend, Friday, June 7, to the Duffy Center for an interesting conversation on how we also can be faith-based influencers in the marketplace.
