SHARE @ Blessed Sacrament Needs Volunteers

Your parish food ministry is seeking volunteers to help for about three hours one Friday
afternoon each month at The Duffy Center (parish center) to sort and package the food items we distribute to those in need. The food items arrive in larger boxes and our Packing Team prepares smaller packages for each recipient. It is a fairly simple task, but has huge benefits for the recipients and is a gratifying experience for our volunteers. We also have need for a volunteer who can assist our Transportation Team by driving late one Friday morning a month to the SHARE warehouse in Landover, MD, pick up the food and return to Blessed Sacrament.
