Are you Interested in What it means to be Catholic?
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process by which unbaptized persons and those who were baptized in another Christian denomination are prepared to become full members of the Catholic Church. There are various components of the process, including study sessions about the Catholic faith, Scripture study, community building, and participation in various preparatory rites. Persons enter the process having unique spiritual journeys and may discern at various stages whether they would like to proceed.
The OCIA process at will begin in October and run through the celebration of Christian Initiation Sacraments at the Easter Vigil of 2025. Sessions are held on Wednesdays beginning October 9 (7:00-8:30 pm) in the parish center.
