All boys 11 years old and up or having graduated 5th grade are invited to join Blessed Sacrament’s Boy Scout Troop 90!
Scouting gives young people the opportunity to explore a world beyond the boundaries of everyday life and build a love for the outdoors. They get to try new things, develop friendships, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and develop leadership skills. And have fun while doing it!
This past summer Troop 90 scouts camped at Goshen Scout Camp Reservation -- staffed by Eagle Scouts from Blessed Sacrament – and backpacked and camped at the Philmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico. Other Troop 90 activities include:
We have resumed in-person troop meetings Wednesday nights from 7:30 - 8:30 pm in the Blessed Sacrament Parish Center – along with hikes, monthly campouts, and other outdoor activities. We will follow CDC safety guidelines and protocols as necessary. Our first meeting of the year will be Wednesday night, September 7th and our first campout will be in late September. Please come by anytime and check it out. No obligation. No scouting experience necessary.
Come join the adventure – where the best part of reaching your goal is the journey!

Cub Scout Pack 90, right here at Blessed Sacrament, is one of the oldest Cub Scout Packs in the city with a long history of connection and service to the Blessed Sacrament parish and neighboring communities. We’re planning a robust calendar of events for the 2022-2023 school year and are focused on growing the number of boys who would like to be a part of the Pack where they learn about leadership, citizenship, teamwork, and sportsmanship skills.
Our first meeting of the year will be on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the BSS Auditorium and is open to all boys and families interested in joining or just learning more about Scouting with Pack 90. Please feel free to contact Anthony Angelo at [email protected] with any questions you may have.
Girls interested in making new friends, serving others and trying new things - from nature and camping, to arts and crafts, to making brown-bag lunches for the homeless - are invited to join the Blessed Sacrament Girl Scout program. Scouting builds confidence, leadership and self-esteem by encouraging girls to learn to do things for themselves and to master new skills. Parent participation is expected.
